Connecting Blues

Mission

Connecting Blues is a revolutionary platform that connects Democrats–especially those in Red States–to each other and the causes that matter most to them. By providing marketing tools, research, resources, and training, Connecting Blues takes disconnected–and often isolated–volunteers and transforms them into powerful, well-equipped Democratic leaders.

Connecting Blues is open to all Democrats committed to the values of justice, equality, and opportunity for all. Membership turns volunteers into well-equipped and motivated organizers capable of leading Democratic efforts locally and across the state.

Michelle French is a graphic designer, art director, entrepreneur, marketeer, product designer, gardener, and a Democrat. She serves on the Alabama SDEC, as vice-chair of Randolph County Blues, as well as other volunteer positions.

After years of frustration at the lack of good graphics for liberal causes—especially since great designers are almost always liberal—and having to search for swag, during a surface design class, she had an epiphany.

She decided to establish a community and a store to reach out to Democrats in red states who feel like unicorns.

In her store, she has her designs and offers a space for other democrats and candidates to sell their promotional items without having to go to the time and expense of setting up stores themselves.

She will gladly work with you to personalize items for your group.
